A filter is a fibrous device which is used to separate solids from fluids. Fluids can be liquids or gases. Filters are used in various applications including industrial processes, mechanical engineering, aviation, and food and drug processing. Examples are separation of products in chemical production, biofilters, air and oil filters. Key filtration techniques are hot, cold and vacuum filtration. The specifications for filters depend on the manufacturing process of the filter system as well as on the end-use.
We manufacture woven fabrics which are used in filter and membrane systems for several applications. During development we cooperate closely with filter manufacturers and our suppliers. We combine industry proven yarns with optimized fabric construction and treatment to fulfil the specific demands including light-weight, high tenacity and durability as well as complying with regulatory and industry standards.
